On this episode we have the return of comedian Andy Farnsworth, who due to my bad technical skills was just a small voice in the background a few episodes back. We are also joined by comedian Sheldon Beitler. Recorded at the Complex in SLC during the weekly Comedy Roadkill show. We talk about cooking at altitude, Ben’s many facebook profile pictures and jokes that Sheldon’s and Jamie’s wives won’t let us tell.
Comedy podcast thing I do with SLC Comedian Jamie Maxfield. This time we chat with the very funny Andy Farnsworth and the very awesome Sheldon Beitler.
Recorded on the fourth day of the SLC Comedy Carnival. Jamie and Ben sit down with comedians Whitney Streed from Portland and local favorite Jason Harvey. We talk about our unified hatred for Captain Planet, where artiest go when they die, and why Ben did not show up to Jamie’s 40th birthday.
Podcast thing I did last week with Jamie Maxfield, Jason Harvey, and Whitney Streed at the SLC Comedy Carnivale.
Welcome to a special episode of the podcast. Recorded at The Complex in downtown SLC Utah. Jamie and Ben talk with Levi Rounds and Christopher Stephenson about Chaz Blackwood. Chaz Blackwood is a famous British comedian who has worked with the likes of Russell Brand and has been on BBC. Now he is in America trying to make it. He keeps on running into one problem. IT’S ALL A LIE! Chaz Blackwood better known as Scotty Lee, better known as a hack comic who lies about his comedy career, oh yeah and has a thing for underage girls. We use this episode not to talk about jokes or joke writing but to expose Chaz and we use Chaz as a case study as to why you as a comedian should not try to skip steps A thru Y to get to Z (Fame).
Thing I did last night with Jamie Maxfield, Christopher Stephenson and Levi Rounds about a guy who used to be a comic locally (SLC, Utah) and then went on the run from the law, and then returned under a new identity (this time a British comic) until he got outed by some locals that remembered him. Actually pretty interesting and creepy and weird all at once. Language is kinda pretty strongly profane.
Where’s the Punch? Episode 4 (Explicit) - A cough and a tampon walk into a bathroom.
I am invited back once again to co-host my good friend Jamie Maxfield’s Podcast about Standup Comedy, Where’s The Punch. On this episode we spend time with Utah comedians and my other good friends Collen Waters and Melissa Merlot. We talk about Cocaine filled tampons, small men who cough like monsters, and why women love to remodel men. This episode was recorded at The Complex in SLC Utah where the weekly Showcase and Open Mic that I produce happens each Tuesday at 8pm in the Vibe room.
