I just barely got done posting an old review of a live Flaming Lips show that I saw at the Palms in Vegas back in ‘07 and then jumped out to YouTube and saw this video just sitting their in my newsfeed waiting for me.

This is pretty spectacular in the way they set a mood and capture the light and establish just how engrossed the whole crowd is in what is going on.

Honestly, as we start to do more live video shoots (and by we, I mean our agency mediaRif), I would like us to gravitate a bit towards staging events like this.
